re-install previous software

I have used the UCDS adapter for the first time, for updating the modules software.
The result of it however is bad: I have several options & features that are not working anymore.
I've been told that the IPMA module has to have its old software back, in order to solve this problem.
I have no back-up of the SW, how do I get it back?

If you can see it in the update wizard, you can select an older version of the software from the drop down. I'm not sure if it will have all of the same files as were originally on it.
