Frequently asked questions about the UCDS project

Download and install the latest software from the link -> Download software
You can also read the project documentation at link or read our WiKi to understand what and how to do with cars.
Our software is not allowed in a virtual machine environment.
This also applies to work on Apple laptops. Our software can only work on these laptops in BootCamp boot mode. Work in the Parallels environment is impossible, since it is actually a virtual machine.
If you are using software version 2.0.XXX.XXX, it is important to know that for the adapter and software to work correctly, there must be at least 1 level 1 token on the adapter. If in the "Adapter Information" tab you see the number of level 1 tokens equal to 0, or when trying to switch the adapter to "CAN mode" you see an error message about the absence of level 1 tokens - you need to contact the UCDS software developers via the contact form on the website and notify of your intention to purchase at least 1 level 1 token.
Our software requires your PC to be connected to the Internet to periodically contact the licensing servers. If your PC has access to the Internet and you are sure that the network is available (various sites open), check the following possible options:
1. The UCDS software is too outdated. Make sure that you have the latest version of the software. You can download the latest version of UCDS software from the link
2. Various software is installed on the PC that blocks access of our software via HTTPS to the licensing servers (defender programs, firewall, etc.)
If you are convinced that all two main points do not apply to your situation, you can contact us for support on the corresponding page, creating a request with the subject "Support" and describing your situation.
